Julianna Farrait (Julianna Farrait Rodriguez) was the wife of the late American gangster and drug trafficker Frank Lucas.
Julianna was also involved in drug trafficking and in 2012 she was sentenced to five years prison for trying to sell cocaine to an undercover informant.
In the movie American Gangster, which was inspired by her husband’s life, Julianna is portrayed as an ex-Miss Puerto Rico. Further investigations later showed that she had never been on the Miss Puerto Rico’ winners.

Julianna has not revealed her date and year of birth. It is however speculated that she might be 88 years old since she was about 70-years-old when she was curated by DEA agents to the San Juan-centered Federal Court building in mid-2010.

Julianna was married to American gangster and drug trafficker Frank Lucas. Julianna and Lucas me at a night club during one of Frank’s trips to Puerto Rico.
The couple often bought each other expensive gifts, including a coat for which Julianna paid $125,000 and a matching hat for which she paid $40,000 cash.
Julianna was jailed for five years for her role in her husband’s criminal enterprise. After coming out of prison, they lived separately for some years and she moved back to Puerto Rico.
They, however, reconciled in 2006 and were married for more than 40 years. Julianna and Frank had seven children together.
Frank was known for cutting out middlemen in the drug trade and buying heroin directly from his source in the Golden Triangle.
Frank Lucas Death
Frank died on May 30, 2019, at the age of 88 in New Jersey. Frank’s death was confirmed by his nephew Aldwan Lassiter, who said his uncle died of natural causes.
He was confined to a wheelchair due to a car accident which broke his legs.

Julianna and Frank had seven children together. They are Francine Lucas-Sinclair, Frank Lucas Jr., Ray Lucas, Betty Lucas, Candace Lucas, Ruby Lucas, Tony Walters.
Their daughter Francine Lucas-Sinclair and son Frank Lucas, Jr., entered the witness protection program in 1977. They have since started a website, Yellow Brick Road, containing resources for the children of imprisoned parents.

Julianna was arrested in 1975 and was sentenced to five years in prison for getting involved in the drug business, illegal trafficking of drugs and for covering up Lucas’ drug activities.
Later in 2010, she was arrested again as she was trying to sell 2kg cocaine at a hotel in Puerto Rico.
She was sentenced to five years in prison by Manhattan Federal court justice, Laura Taylor in 2012. During the sentencing, Julianna begged the judge for “mercy and compassion” so she could care for her ailing husband.
“I am ashamed that at my age I am standing in front of you. I want to apologize to my husband . . . My husband is 81 years old, and I would like to spend what time he has with him.”
