In a developing story of Theodore Edgecomb, the trial defence team argues the shooting was self-defence. He is a 32-year-old man charged with first-degree intentional homicide in September 2020.

He was arrested for the shooting of Milwaukee attorney Jason Cleereman.

Theodore pleaded guilty to two bail jumping counts related to the case.

On Wednesday, the prosecution told the jury that the shooting of Cleereman was horrible and senseless.

They even added Edgecomb knew before going on the run for months.

The On-Going Trial Of Jason Cleereman Shooting

During opening statements, Defense Attorney B’Ivory LaMarr questioned Cleereman’s wife’s love for her husband.

He said that the Cleeremans stuck Edgecomb on a bicycle, and that prompted Cleereman to yell a racial slur.

Moreover, the incident led to Edgecomb punching Cleereman through the car window. Prosecutors say that’s why the Cleeremans pulled over.

Grant Huebner, the prosecutor, said that he was getting ready to confront the defendant who had just pulled up on a bike punched him in the face.

What began as road rage on Milwaukee’s east side in September 2020 between a cyclist and a car passenger had a tragic end in deadly gunfire.

Edgecomb’s Prosecutors said he dressed in a suit and tie for his homicide trial intentionally killed immigration attorney Jason Cleereman.
