A Mrs. Fields bakery will soon make its debut at the Crossgates Mall, attracting sweet-toothed shoppers with its famous freshly baked assortment of cookies.
The bakery will open on the lower level around the corner from APEX Entertainment.
Mrs. Fields currently has 250 franchised retail locations nationally, but this will be its first store in the Capital Region. From cookie cakes and “Bite-Sized Nibblers” to brownie bites and hand-dipped berries, the bakery offers a variety of products to satisfy sugar cravings small and large.
After being founded in 1977 by Debbi Fields, the bakery quickly became renowned for its warm “right out of the oven” cookies. It now attracts a wide customer base by offering celebratory and giftable treats for any occasion including birthday cakes, thank you cookie crates and get-well baskets.
“As always, we are excited to work with brands such as Mrs. Fields to offer some added joy (and delicious treats) to a visit here at Crossgates! We are happy that guests will be able to have yet another option for a quick snack while they are out and about shopping,” Jennifer Smith, Crossgates marketing director, wrote in a statement.
