Why Did Pam Hupp Kill Betsy Faria?
What drove Pam to kill Betsy Faria? An attorney, Wood, charged Pam Hupp with the murder of Betsy Faria in July 2021. He accused Pam of framing Russ Faria, husband of Betsy, for the murder.
The mother of two, Pam, has been charged with two murders, Betsy Faria, a best friend of Pam, and Louis Gumpenberger, a resident of Union, Missouri. Following a tragic car crash, Louis suffered severe mental and physical impairments in 2005.
As per the documents, Betsy had a chemotherapy appointment when she was killed in 2011. Also, in 2010, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
As per Pam’s murder wiki page, she killed Louis Gumpenberger on August 16, 2016. Gumpenberger died after Hupp shot him five times in her home at 1260 Little Brave Drive in O’Fallon. She is serving a life sentence now.
Following the Betsy Faria investigation, Wood charged Pam with the first-degree murder of Betsy Faria and with armed criminal action. She was alleged stabbed over 55 times with her wrists cut to the bone.
A serrated kitchen knife left lodged in her neck. The second knife was found on the couch where she was lying unconscious.

Where Is Pam Hupp Now?
Pam is serving life imprisonment at the Chillicothe Correctional Center. She will remain behind the bar throughout her life without parole.
As per Daily Mail, Hupp framed Russ Faria, husband of deceased Betsy Faria. She diverted the Betsy murder case from her and accused Russ he murdered him to get the insurance money.
After Pam confessed her crime of killing Louis in 2016, attorney Mike Wood announced that he would be reopening the Betsy Faria homicide investigation. He believed that there might be some connection between the murders.
