American football player and defensive end for the Buffalo Bills, Jerry Hughes, is married to Meghan Hughes, born Robinson.
Meghan was a resident of Houston, Texas, before moving with Jerry to Buffalo, New York. She was a swimmer and alumnus at Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia, and is a long-time sweetheart of Jerry’s from their high school days.
Meghan has a generous personality that complements her husband’s, especially in the area of philanthropy. During their offseason isolation in their home in Houston at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Meghan and Jerry donated $50,000 to the Western New York Covid-19 Community Response Fund.
Together with her husband, Meghan partnered with the Grange Community Kitchen in Hamburg during the pandemic to supply meals to first responders and health care workers. They provided 500 meals to the Buffalo police and fire departments, as well as 500 meals to health care workers at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
Meghan is also remarkably supportive of her husband’s sports career. Meghan got wedded to Jerry in 2015 and has two kids with him: JR and Hayden Hughes.
