“You are the Class of 2017. And by every statistical analysis, you are collectively considered the strongest class to ever graduate from this university. You have all excelled in various study programs, ”he said.
“No matter how cliched it may sound, you will never be truly successful until you learn to give beyond yourself. Empathy and kindness are the real signs of emotional intelligence, and that’s what Viv and I are trying to teach our boys. Hey Matthias, get your hands on Axel right now! Stop it. I see you. Okay? He added, “To those of you who have graduated and have a pretty good idea of what you would like to do with your life, congratulations. For many of you who may not have figured it all out, that’s fine. It’s the same chair I sat on. Enjoy the process of your research without succumbing to the pressure of the result. Trust your gut, keep throwing darts at the dart board. Don’t listen to the criticism and you will understand, ”the actor concluded.
