On Android 12, the Amazon Appstore is said to be fully broken, with reports of continuous crashes and issues filling the Amazon support site. Android 12 was launched to the public in October 2021, and developers had access to beta versions for even longer.

As a result, this looks to be a huge blunder on Amazon’s behalf, as some Android 12 customers have stated that the Appstore is useless. Since then, an Amazon employee has recognized the problems and claimed that the technical team is “still working on a solution.”

The Amazon Appstore failed to display any of the previously purchased or downloaded apps for multiple customers, according to user comments on this post on the Amazon support site. They were also unable to access any other Appstore applications. Another glitch, according to reports, blocked applications from receiving any updates. Several users have speculated that the problems may have developed as a result of Amazon’s DRM interfering with both premium and free apps. While it works on the improvements, Amazon is claimed to have resorted to posting the following remark on the Appstore. “We’re also looking forward to Android 12. Unfortunately, we’re having some difficulties. Thank you for your patience while we work to restore your Appstore.” Microsoft just stated that on Windows 11, the Amazon Appstore will be the major Android marketplace. On the Windows 11 edition of the Amazon Appstore, there are presently 50 applications available.

This version of the Amazon Appstore, however, is only available to Windows 11 Beta testers in the United States. The Amazon Appstore is an excellent alternative to the Google Play Store for Android users.
