Although Zamacona was put on the hospital bed, nothing was reported to be serious until June 28.
Following the damage to his left lung due to Covid-19, his family had requested to keep Jose in their prayers.
Meanwhile, Zamacona had already taken his vaccines as he announced on March 19 that he was vaccinated.
Following the news, several artists and musical groups took their time on social media to mourn the demise of Jose Manuel Zamacona.
