It’s easy to see why. The show has gained a massive following since its debut in 2016, and it shows no signs of slowing down in 2017. We know that many fans are wondering when the fourth season will be released and what else we can expect from this season when it finally arrives on Netflix. We are here to talk about Startup Season 4 release date.

If you’re like us, you’ve probably been wondering where the new season of Startup is and what we can expect from the new characters on the show. Luckily, we got the chance to catch up with showrunner Ben Ketai about some of our burning questions about the upcoming season of Startup. We want to clear up everything you need to know about Startup Season 4 so far!

What Is Startup?

If you’re looking for a startup season 4 release date. You may want to know exactly what it is before streaming. It’s about a fictional Silicon Valley entrepreneur named Richard Dick Roy (Owen Wilson) and his band of friends who try to make a new tech startup company from scratch. The show is produced by famed producer, director, and writer David Fincher. He directed, and executive produced House of Cards. So fans of that Netflix Original will probably like Startup as well. Fincher was also behind films like The Social Network, Seven, Zodiac, Alien 3, and Fight Club. This means he knows how to do tech startups very well in Hollywood-speak, at least. Of course, there are others on Startup’s team as well. That includes some big-name actors such as Martin Freeman (The Hobbit, Sherlock), Ed Begley Jr. (St. Elsewhere), and more.

When Is Startup Season 4 Coming Out?
There’s no exact date for the Netflix startup season 4 air date. But there are a few things to consider. First, season three premiered in 2018 last year. So it seems likely that season four will have a similar release window. It’s more than likely that it will return in 2022. The good news is that we don’t have to wait long to find out when Startup season 4 is coming out. As soon as Netflix announces when season four is being released. I’ll update here ASAP. Stay tuned! Will it Be on Netflix Only?
As it currently stands, Seasons 1-3 of Startup will be exclusive to Netflix until mid-2020. Season 4 will likely remain with Netflix even longer as part of their original deal with Disney/ABC (the parent company of ABC Studios). But since a lot can change between now and then. We may very well see Seasons 1-3 on Hulu by 2020. We’ll have to wait and see. Once one streaming service has exclusivity rights over seasons of a show. Other services generally don’t pick them up immediately. If another service does happen to pick up Season 4. Or any future seasons. Luckily, some key players behind HBO’s hit comedy have finally started to fill in details about what’s going on with Richard Hendricks’ big company. For example, here are a few insights into who will be part of Season 4 – plus who won’t.

The startup tv series cast includes Martin Starr as Gilfoyle; Zach Woods as Jared; Amanda Crew as Monica Hall; Jimmy O. Yang as Jian-Yang; Matt Ross as Gavin Belson; Suzanne Cryer as Laurie Bream and Thomas Middleditch as Richard. Until recently, it was unclear whether or not Big Head would also return to help bring tech startup dreams back to life when season four returns. But he is officially coming back!

On top of that, Wozniak is making an appearance in at least one episode during Season 4. It has been reported that Laurie played by Suzanne Cryer, will become more involved with Pied Piper after joining them full time from Raviga Capital. Meanwhile, Erlich Bachman (TJ Miller) has been relatively MIA since Netflix start up season three wrapped up way back. However, last we heard, there was still talk of bringing him back to make his mark on season four – though there’s no official word yet if/when that might happen.

The wait for Season 4 of Netflix’s hit show Startup is almost over. But fans might have to hold on a little longer than they hoped. While things are looking good for a release date, some details still need to be worked out. Recently, series creators Alex Winter and Justin Wilkes posted an update on what has been going behind the scenes of Startup’s latest season on Facebook. This update follows their original announcement post back in 2021. Where they wrote that filming had begun. But there are no trailer releases of start-up Netflix season 4. There were no official plot or cast announcements either. Just yet. However, we know a few basic facts about Startup Season 4 so far.

How Many Episodes are in Startup Season 4?
We still don’t know when startup season 4 will premiere or how many episodes it will have. But we do know one thing. It won’t be an eight-episode miniseries like Season 3 was. Production on Startup season 2 wrapped in early 2017. So unless there was a long break between filming and editing for some reason, I would bet that we’ll see season 4 by spring at the latest—barring any delays in post-production. A 10 episode season (like season 1) wouldn’t take as long to edit, shoot and premiere as a shorter one would.

So it makes sense that they would stick with ten episodes and make them longer to fill out a total of 10 hours of programming if need be. The earliest we can expect season 4 is March 2018, but a June release date seems more likely. The last two seasons premiered in April and December of their respective years, so releasing Season 4 earlier than either seems logical.

What Happened in The Previous Seasons?

The first season of Startup was about getting Dropbox off of its feet. The second season takes place three years later and finds Dropbox having grown into a massive company. But just because it’s flourishing now doesn’t mean that founder Drew Houston, Arash Ferdowsi, and Co. can rest on their laurels—especially when you have newcomers such as Box breathing down your neck. The third season picks up with Dropbox hiring a new engineer to spearhead some risky new ideas when they already have their hands complete with various acquisitions and projects that they’re working on. That said, will these changes be enough for them to fend off Box? We’ll find out when Startup Season 4 arrives next year. There has been no specific release date announced yet. But we expect that information to come soon since filming is already underway.

What Will Happen in Startup Season 4?
Ever since we first saw Martin Freeman as Richard Hendrix at TechCrunch Disrupt NY in 2013, fans of Silicon Valley have been begging for his return. All signs point to a season four debut on HBO on Sunday, April 23 at 10/9c. Now that we’ve also heard confirmation of a fifth season and some hints about what’s in store for Season 4 let’s take a look at everything we know so far. If you don’t want to be spoiled, stop reading here! The big question mark is whether or not Christopher Evan Welch. Who played Peter Gregory – will appear in any capacity for Season 4 after his untimely death last December.

In an interview with Indiewire, Zach Woods (Jared) said he wouldn’t be surprised if Welch returned somehow. It feels like it would certainly be possible. At San Francisco’s Crunchies Awards back in February, T.J. Miller confirmed plans to include a tribute in Season 4 for Welch, but nothing has yet been verified.
